Release of the NEW Arkham Knight Scarecrow Figure

This week, the new Batman Arkham Knight Scarecrow figure debuted.  The toy is based on Scarecrow's character in the new Arkham Knight game.

There were a lot of changes made to the look of the character and packaging, but as a Scarecrow lover, there is nothing more exciting than the release of a new toy.

I was a bit sad to see the package change from the plastic bubble front that resembled Batman's cowl, as this has been used on previous Arkham lines in the past.

Also, I was a huge fan of the previous Arkham Scarecrow outfit, which has been changed to look more evil, dingy, and dangerous with tattered clothes and what one can assume is canisters of fear toxin on his chest.  This toy also show a full leg brace, showing the Scarecrow is hurt and more geared up.

I'm alright with most alternative versions of Scarecrow because, I'm usually just grateful to see him.  This look is really far away from the traditional comic style or the Nolan Batman movies.  But, it makes sense, because Scarecrow deals in fear, it's logical for him to look scary and evil.

The toy doesn't come with any weapons, which makes sense but, it does come with an alternative mask which is probably a hallucination that will be found in the actual game.

I was quick to buy this toy as I had waited to get the Arkham Asylum Scarecrow and had to pay a lot to get one after their value had jumped.  The detail on this new figure is really great and online pictures don't do it justice.  The detail on the outfit and weapons is amazing and the packaging, while smaller than a lot of other lines, gives a future Batman tech vibe.
